For reasons unbeknownst to us, Bodog Poker has yet to explode in popularity. This is odd because Bodog Poker offers many different things that poker players could find useful. For starters, Bodogs software is excellent as it is colorful with several color options to choose from.
You can play up to 4 tables at once and if you have problems keeping up, Bodog has added a spotlight feature which shows you where the current action is.
You are also sure to enjoy the quick seat feature as it allows you to choose your settings such as stakes, table size, and game preference, and then you are automatically seated within just a few seconds.
And last, but definitely not least, Bodog offers an Instant Play which is handy for players who own Mac computers. There really is no reason why you should not check out Bodog, especially since they offer several tournaments, satellites, and bonuses.
Bodog VIP Details
Currently at this time, Bodog does not offer Rakeback. However, they do offer ways to earn money back each month. As you play real money games and earn Bodog Points, you will later be able to take those and convert them into cash.
Every 100 points converts into $1.00 cash and a minimum of $5.00 is needed before you can make a conversion. You can do this until you have reached the maximum of 25,000 points, or $250, in a 30-day period.
Bodog Deposit Bonus - Reload Bonus
Bodog does something a little bit different for new players. Sure, you will get a 100% deposit bonus that is good up to $500. But what is a little different and actually refreshing about Bodog is that you will receive an extra 10% up front.
So for example, if you were to deposit $500 you would actually get $50 up front to start playing with. Then, you will have to earn 10 pts for every $1 you wish to earn of your bonus within 30 days. Prior to cashing out your deposit bonus, it will have to be played through at least 3 points for every $1.
Earning points is actually very simple at Bodog. How many points you earn per hand will vary on the stakes that you play. For example, if you play at stakes from $1-$3 you will have earned yourself 1 point. If you are on the other side of the scale playing at $.05 to $.20 you will earn about .10 of a point per raked hand.
Tourney fees will pay 3 points for every $1 and if you are looking for an added incentive then Bodog has it for you. They will pay you 1 point for every 60 minutes that you are playing on their site up to a maximum of 500 points per month.
If you happen to run into a couple bad beats or variances while at Bodog and your bankroll is depleted, they have you covered with a 100% reload bonus good up to $500. The same rules apply as the deposit bonus and you will see your bonus issued after 30 days.
Bodog Poker Games
Stakes will generally start out at $.05/$.10 for all of Bodogs games with a maximum of $30/$60. They currently offer Texas Holdem, Omaha, and Stud and you may find yourself confused when first looking through their games. Many of the tables state "max" next to where the stakes are and this may lead you to believe that that is the max bet.
This is not the case. It actually means that you cannot bring more than what is stated to the tables. If they are hoping to grow as a poker room, it can only help by making larger stakes available. You will find that the Texas Holdem games are quite full as the Omaha tables are lacking and Stud tables are virtually non-existent.
In addition to their ring games, you will also find several tournament options as well as sit n go's. Most sit n go's start out at $1 and can be seen as high as $220. They offer full tables, 6 handed tables, and turbo sit n go's. When it comes to tournaments, it is very similar to sit n go's.
The minimum and maximum buy in are the same as well as the different variations.
